The forward joins fellow four-star small forward Matt Cross from Brewster Academy. Timberlake will be a key addition for the offense under head coach Jim Larranaga. The small forward is ranked as the fifth-best recruit for the Miami Hurricanes since 247 Sports began tracking recruits. He will be a key addition for a Hurricanes team that will need to reload after the season.
Timberlake is a talented wing player listed at 6’6″ and 215 pounds. He will likely compete heavily for a starting role next season with the Miami Hurricanes. He is talented and will likely play for the team anywhere between two and four years. Adding Timberlake was a much-needed talent infusion for the team.
The Hurricanes are still after a few other four-star recruits, but interest varies and it is unclear if they will land another ranked recruit or not. The team has landed an incredibly talented recruit in Earl Timberlake. They will need to attempt to build around him in the 2020 or 2021 recruiting class. The team is about to begin ACC play, but this is great news before a likely underwhelming season begins for Miami.
Miami will have a very talented player next year and a much-needed talent infusion for head coach Jim Larranaga. Timberlake will be ready to play for the Hurricanes.
