We are in the first few days of the release of Drake’s fourth studio album, VIEWS, and soon the projections will start rolling in.
Last night, Drake performed two shows in Toronto at Younge and Dundas Square, the area where we usually see Toronto Raptors fans mobbing during the NBA Playoffs (Jurassic Park, as they like to call it). Later on, Drake would host a private listening party performing some of the songs from VIEWS. At one point in the night, Drake announced that he got a text message reporting the first sales projection for the album.
Drake’s Nothing Was The Same sold 658,000 in the first week, which is his personal best, but these numbers suggest that VIEWS would in fact be a new benchmark for Drizzy in first week sales.
