Drake finally put a date on it, and the streets (and the internet) are paying attention. After months of hints, icy visuals, and lowkey teasing, his next album ICEMAN is officially set to drop on May 15, 2026.
This rollout wasn’t your usual press run. Drake turned it into a whole moment in Toronto, dropping a massive ice sculpture in the city like it was some coded message for the fans to crack. And that’s exactly what happened. Inside the installation was the official release info, hidden away until fans and streamers started breaking it down piece by piece.
It even got chaotic in real time when Twitch streamer Kishka ended up uncovering the final piece of the reveal, confirming the date everyone had been guessing about for weeks. Naturally, it went viral instantly.
ICEMAN has been building noise for a minute already. Drake’s dropped records like “What Did I Miss?”, “Which One” featuring Central Cee, and “Dog House” with Yeat and Julia Wolf, giving fans a preview of the energy he’s on this time around. The sound feels like he’s mixing introspection with that cold, calculated “I’m outside but I’m watching everything” vibe.
This project is also his first full solo studio album in a while, and people are expecting a shift.
