Less than a week after the second season premiere of his FX show, Atlanta, Donald Glover is back with more exciting projects in the works. Beginning this September, Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover will be on tour for his most recent album, Awaken! My Love. The director, singer, and rapper will begin his run in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia on September 6th and will hit New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. before ending in Vancouver on September 30th. If you think that’s a short tour, that’s because it is. Gambino will be doing thirteen shows in twenty-five days. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at noon. However, American Express cardmembers can begin purchasing tickets on Tuesday, March 6th at noon.
Joining Donald Glover on his next tour is the group out of Tupelo, Mississippi, Rae Sremmurd. This will be a great look for the brother duo signed to producer, Mike Will Made-It. The “Black Beatles” duo is currently preparing for a release of their much-anticipated album, SR3M. Just last week, Rae Sremmurd premiered three new singles off of their upcoming project, including a brand new record that features Three 6 Mafia legend, Juicy J.
This pairing is by no means expected considering the contrast between the two acts’ musical styles. Nevertheless, fans are extremely excited to catch the two southern R&B and hip-hop acts hit the stage.

If you can’t catch his tour with Rae Sremmurd, Glover has also recently announced that he is working on releasing another album in the near future. Be on the lookout!
