HBO’s Music Box documentary series is set to take a look into the life of one of the most beloved artist’s in recent memory, DMX. The highly-anticipated documentary, Don’t Try To Understand, will take a look into the highs and lows and lessons he learned along his journey.
“Turn your pain into words. Don’t Try to Understand, an original documentary, follows a year in the life of the late rapper as he worked to rebuild his career and reconnect with family and fans,” the description reads.
Don’t Try To Understand is the third installment of the docuseries led by Bill Simmons. Thus far, HBO has delivered films exploring the horrors of Woodstock and the legacy of Alanis Morissette. Down the line, Music Box will also feature films about Kenny G, Juice WRLD and several other iconic acts.
