Nickelodeon enlists DJ Khaled to host the Kids’ Choice Awards 2019. The “Father of Asahd” adds to what Nickelodeon calls the biggest, slimiest party of the year.
With the Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards 2019, the network uses social media providing a unique experience. Leveraging Instagram, Nickelodeon launches their first ever Augmented Reality camera effect where fans can slime themselves and friends. The award show also features live voting.
The hosting gig comes with more than just owning the stage. DJ Khaled holds three nods including Favorite male artist. Top nominees include films Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel’s Black Panther, Bronx rapper Cardi B.
The music mogul shares his excitement stating “Father of Asahd is here to let you know the biggest party of the year is about to go up! That’s right, March 23rd I’m your host, DJ Khaled for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. I’ll see you soon!”
