
Billboard did! DJ Khaled’s latest studio album, God Did, has debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart. The project reportedly moved 107,500 units in its first week. It joins Khaled Khaled, Grateful and Major Key as his fourth studio album to top the charts.
Elsewhere, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti falls to number two with 106,000 units moved in the past week. Un Verano Sin Ti had spent the previous nine weeks at number one on the Billboard 200. Furthermore, Bad Bunny’s latest studio album has not departed from the top two since it was released four months ago. According to Billboard, the last album to achieve this feat was Drake’s Views from May through September of 2016.
Other notable performances from the past week include Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers, Beyoncé’s Renaissance and Silk Sonic’s An Evening with Silk Sonic. Beyoncé’s latest studio album from third to sixth with 46,000 units in the past week, which is a 12% drop from the previous week. Elsewhere, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers and Silk Sonic’s An Evening with Silk Sonic returned to the top 10 of the Billboard 200 with the release of vinyl.
This week, Ari Lennox, John Legend and NAV will ready the release of new studio albums. However, it will be two weeks until those projects officially enter the Billboard 200 chart.
