Just a few days ago there were rumors of the Lakers possibly trading for DWill… Safe to say that ain’t going down.
According to NBA.com/Nets Deron Williams is scheduled to undergo surgery on both his ankles. That’s some Steph Curry territory right there.
He will have a bone chip removed from his right ankle and the left ankle will have an arthroscopic clean out with removal of spurs from both the front and back o the ankle – Dr. O’Malley Nets foot & ankle specialist
Whoowee that’s a list. That’ll be something to come back from.
With the fact that this past season he only averaged 14.3 PPG and 6.1 APG this concludes Deron Williams’ prime. I don’t care if he’s 29 his “best PG in the league” years were over when he left Utah and with this surgery, I can’t see him averaging 10 APG in a season again.
