Dave Bautista has been a roll. If we ignore the fact that he lost his final match in the WWE at Wrestlemania on Sunday, all-in-all it’s been a pretty good weekend for the former World Heavyweight Champion. On Friday we saw the trailer for his new spy-comedy ‘My Spy’ and now this buddy-cop film that stars Bautista alongside Kumail Nanjiani.
This movie seems absolutely hilarious. The concept of a Uber driver being taken hostage by a Cop is something that hasn’t been explored yet and when it comes to buddy-cop movies, it’s good to always give it a certain twist. This seems like Ride-Along mixed with Deadpool and releases on July 12th, 2019.
Bautista will also have another movie in ‘My Spy’ releasing this summer as well. As for Nanjiani, he’s been rumoured to be in Marvel’s next superhero movie ‘The Eternals’.
