As quietly as its kept, no young artist has been as well received and consistent as Cordae has been over the last two years. He’s delivered a new project and climbed the “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart with “Gifted” featuring Roddy Ricch. Not to mention, he’s been spotted courtside supporting his girlfriend, Naomi Osaka, at the U.S. Open.
After taking some time to put things together in between his debut album and now, it looks like the Maryland native is in full blown album mode. A few weeks ago, he climbed int o the top half of the “Billboard Hot 100” chart with “Super.” Now, he’s back with a new track called “Sinister” with one of the best to ever do it, Lil’ Wayne.
“Yeah, alright, my flow sinister/This ain’t rap music, this straight literature/Small minded n*gga, all your ideas miniature/They tend to hate on you when they can’t get rid of ya/I ain’t going nowhere, twenty year career minimum/Call Hit-Boy for beats, ask for ten of ’em/I don’t follow trends my n*gga, I swing the pendulum,” Cordae raps as he stands side by side with one of Hip-Hop’s greats.
