Conway The Machine is gearing up to enter the next phase of his growing career. In the coming months, he will release his first studio album through Shady Records. While the Buffalo native hasn’t shared the cover art or release date for the project, he has offered a bit of insight regarding the progress he’s made thus far with his new label.
“It’s in their hands now,” he said during an interview this week.
“It’s finished. We’re happy with everything on our end, but it should be coming out this summer, God willing. I’m excited for the release, I know the fans been waiting. I want my fans to hear it and love it as much as they wanna listen to it and enjoy it and appreciate it and value it. So it’s coming. Some things need to be ironed out and tinkered with, but it’s coming. All systems go. So hopefully this summer we gonna get that.”
As the interview developed, Conway began talking a bit more about what fans can expect from the project. Most importantly, he let the listeners know what features they can expect to hear when the album drops.
“I got Wayne on there, I got Rick Ross, West, Benny, the usuals. Daringer produced a lot of it. It’s a classic Conway album. It’s giving you that feeling that I provide. I’m just super excited for fans to own this piece of art in their possession,” he continued.
Conway The Machine’s God Don’t Make Mistakes will come in due time. For now, Conway and Griselda are preparing for the release of DMX’s first posthumous album. The New York collective is featured on “Hood Blues.” Exodus will arrive on May 28.
