
The Cleveland Browns may be shorthanded heading into this week’s slate of NFL games. NFL insider Adam Schefter has reported that the following eight players have been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list: Jarvis Landry, Jedrick Wills, Austin Hooper, Wyatt Teller, Takkarist McKinley, Drew Forbes, JoJo Natson and Ross Travis. Moving forward, the Cleveland Browns will abide by the league’s enhanced health protocols and participate in virtual meetings.
The NFL continues to deal with a growing COVID-19 outbreak. On Monday, the NFL recorded 37 new cases of COVID-19. In response, the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Washington Football Team instituted enhanced health protocols. Thus far, no games have been postponed. The Browns are still scheduled to play on Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Browns are on a short week with a Saturday game vs. Raiders. They also now have entered the NFL’s league-enhanced protocols, with all meetings being held virtually.
