Philadelphia born and Brooklyn based artist Chynna Rogers has passed away at the age of 25. Her manager, John Miller, broke the news on Wednesday night when he released a statement put together by her family.
“Chynna was deeply loved and will be sorely missed,” the Rogers family wrote.

In her 25 years, Rogers put in over a decade of work in the entertainment industry. At 14 years old, she got her start as a model. Then, she met up with the late A$AP Yams and begin releasing music in the early 2010s. She led with singles like “Selfie” and “Glen Coco” before dropping two projects called I’m Not Here This Isn’t Happening and music 2 die 2. Later on, she would drop two more projects called Ninety and in case i die first.
Along the way, Rogers worked with some music’s brightest stars. Kehlani, Kari Faux, A-Trak and many others have spoken highly of the young artist. She also worked well with the late, great Mac Miller.
Her family has not publicly revealed the cause of her death.
