Paul was expected to miss 6-8 weeks. Were he to return Thursday, that would be a five-week return. However, Paul isn’t sure that he’ll be returning immediately:
CP said he's getting better but was noncommittal about when exactly he'd return. Said upcoming opponents can't factor into his decision.

His biggest thing is he doesn't want to hurt the team rushing back. CP – "When I’m ready and able to play, trust me, I will."

With the trade deadline tomorrow, Rivers also addressed the Clippers’ likelihood of making a deal:
Doc said Clips want to improve team if possible, "but we like our team. I would not be upset if tomorrow I wake up & everyone’s the same"
