Chlöe Bailey is set to release new music next Friday and Halle Bailey is out promoting her upcoming film, The Little Mermaid. Still, the talented duo has found time to make their way down to the nation’s capital this weekend. Neutrogena has announced that its brand ambassadors, Chloe and Halle Bailey, will offer an “unforgettable experience” on October 21, 2022 during Howard University’s Yardfest.
“Chloe and Halle Bailey are slated to make an appearance at The Skin Lab by Neutrogena, and will also take to the Yardfest mainstage for the first-ever Bison Family Battle by Neutrogena – a special ‘game show’ where the duo and a group of Howard students will compete for prizes and bragging rights,” a joint statement from the skincare brand and Howard University reads.
Chlöe and Halle Bailey are far from the first star musicians to appear at Howard University’s Yardfest. Over the years, Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake and several others have appeared at Yardfest. At the time this article is being written, students and alumni are still unclear as to who will take the stage this year. However, that hasn’t stopped students from offering their suggestions.
“Flo Milli and GloRilla for Yardfest would actually be wild,” one student tweeted.
“If Lil’ Baby or City Girls don’t come to Yardfest imma be highly upset,” another tweeted.
As usual, the official lineup still remains a mystery, but all things will be revealed in the coming hours.
