The Chicago Bulls will be one of the most intriguing teams in 2016-17. After missing the playoffs for the first time in what seems like ages, the Bulls entirely retooled their roster.
Gone are Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, two mainstays from the previous era of Chicago basketball. Gone is Pau Gasol, the player often manning the paint with Noah’s injury issues.
Instead, the Bulls are now armed with Rajon Rondo and Robin Lopez. And of course, they added a hometown hero in Dwyane Wade. But make no mistake, this is still Jimmy Butler’s team.
The Bulls could surprise everybody with their strange mix of players. On the other hand, they could be an unmitigated disaster due to their lack of spacing.
Either way, Chicago will be must-see TV. As such, the team will be featured in 34 national TV games (including those on NBA TV). That is tied with the Cavaliers for second-most behind the Golden State Warriors. Whether they are a mess or not, people will be tuned in to watch the Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls’ full schedule is as follows, with home games in bold:
