Tonight’s debate will not be the last time the two candidates square off before election day. CBS has announced that former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump will each participate in interviews for 60 Minutes on Sunday.
CBS Correspondent Norah O’Donnell will sit down with former Vice President Joe Biden. Meanwhile, CBS Evening News anchor Lesley Stahl will interview President Donald Trump at the White House.
Stahl has described the interviews as “revealing, provocative conversations with the two major party candidates for president.”
This is not the first time two presidential candidates have squared of on 60 Minutes before an election. In 2012, 44th President Barack Obama and former Sen. John McCain sat down for 60 Minutes interview. Four years later, Obama and Sen. Mitt Romney did the same thing.
CBS will air both interviews on 60 Minutes at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.
