It is safe to say the Knicks are a “middle of the road” team. Which nobody wants to be. But Melo relishes in the challenge and is sure that the Knicks will make the Playoffs according to the NY Post.
In fact, Anthony on Monday asserted his belief the Knicks “absolutely” will be back in the playoffs after missing out last season. “Yeah, I think so for sure. Absolutely,” an impressively slimmed-down Anthony said of the Knicks’ playoff chances before entering a Midtown gym for a late morning-to-early afternoon workout with a group of NBA players.
You may think that LeBron and Melo were the first to do the slim down but realise that Tim Duncan has been doing that for years. Just saying. I don’t have New York as a Playoff team. They may have Melo but there are better teams in the East for sure. But if he and Derek Fisher can get a good system going, anything is possible. But they won’t make the Playoffs.
