It’s been an extremely eventful week for the Bronx’s own Cardi B. On Sunday, she took the stage at the Microsoft Theater to perform her latest single, “Money“. That same night, she celebrated her first Grammy Award win for “Best Rap Album”. Not long afterwards, Cardi B was visibly upset because of the amount of hate she got on social media for winning her first Grammy Award. Nevertheless, the Grammy Award winner bounced back later on in the week by hitting the studio with DJ Khaled to work on some new music for his next album, Father of Asahd.
Tonight, Cardi B is back with another new single. Earlier this week, Cardi B teased the song by writing on Instagram, “Ok, so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with Bruno Mars.” As she promised, her latest collaboration with Bruo Mars is here and it’s called “Please Me”. Bruno Mars leads the record with an infectious hook. Bruno Mars sings, “Please me baby. Turn around and just tease me baby. You know what I want and need me baby.”
The record screams of the fun loving 90’s R&B effect they had on “Finesse”. However, this new song is a bit slower. Listen to the full son above and stay tuned for a video in the future.
