Marquis Teague has become the final first-round draft pick from this year’s draft to be signed to a deal. The wait – due to salary cap issues for the Bulls – was signed to a deal by Chicago yesterday. His rookie deal is a three-year deal, which will pay him a reported $857,000 next season.
Teague says it’s a relief to get the contract out the way and focus on basketball.
“It feels good to finally get it out of the way,” Teague said in a phone interview. “I just want to get in the gym and start working out.”
