It is no secret that Buddy has delivered one of the better albums so far this year. Complete with contributions from T-Pain, Tinashe, BLXST and others, Superghetto is a relaxing hour long listen that will take you through the streets of Los Angeles in a cinematic fashion. Following the album’s early success, he has announced his first tour in three years. Beginning June 15, 2022, he’ll make stops in Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and Washington, D.C.
“Superghetto, the tour, [begins] this spring! Tell your friends,” he wrote on Instagram.
Celebrating his announcement, Buddy stopped by Power 106 FM to spend time with a legendary duo, the Los Angeles Leakers. While at the radio station, the Compton native offered a few new verses backed by DJ Quick’s “Pitch In On A Party.” Unsurprisingly, Buddy’s charismatic flows fit in perfectly with the classic west coast production. Towards the end, he even got the Los Angeles Leakers to join him in singing the song’s hook.
