The year of 2019 delivered a number of incredible rap albums. Leading the way, Freddie Gibbs dropped Bandana, Griselda dropped WWCD and DaBaby dropped Baby on Baby. Preceeding many of those great albums, Boogie dropped his debut studio album, Everything’s For Sale. With features from Snoh Aalegra, Eminem, 6LACK, J.I.D and many others, the project lived up to everything you’d hope for from the west coast artist.

One of the many standout tracks from the album was “Lolsmh” produced by McClenny and Keyel. Delivering a heartfelt look at himself, Boogie calls the record one of the best he’s ever recorded. Prior to current lockdowns in his home state of California, Boogie was able to link up with Music Mode to put together a stripped down performance of the song.
“It’s hard for me to be happy/Wish my girl would just dump me/I done showed you all my ugly, but why the f*ck you ain’t judge me/No, my skin ain’t thick, it’s thin, it probably bleed soon as you touch me,” he raps.
“You ain’t designed to be blind and lost in the night like you be/I know the hurt in your eyes, oh my, you remind me of me,” he adds.
