Few artists took off in 2022 quite like BLXST. Riding high off of the success of No Love Lost, the California native stepped into last year with a number of new collaborations and projects ready to go. Most notably, he appeared on Chris Brown’s Breezy and Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. In addition, he delivered his latest project, Before You Go, with contributions from Zacari, Rick Ross, Grandmaster Vic and Arin Ray. Not to mention, he made his way through the festival circuit. Just a few months into the new year, he’s back to deliver new music.
BLXST is ready to start his 2023 campaign with the release of a four-track EP called Just For Clarity II. The four-track EP is California-centric with contributions from Roddy Ricch, Terrace Martin and Mustard. The project also features the previously released single, “Keep Calling,” featuring Larry June. Staying true to the brand he’s built throughout the last few years, much of the EP has a smooth, breezy West Coast feel with lyrics that tell true stories about living and learning in the City of Angels.
BLXST is showing no signs of slowing down. Three months into the new year, he’s appeared on the Creed III soundtrack with Hit-Boy and dropped a four-track EP. Check out his latest offering below and get ready for what he has in store for the remainder of the year.
