BLXST has opened the door to work with a number of artists in recent months. As a result, he’s appeared on tracks with Russ, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Dom Kennedy, Drakeo The Ruler and Mozzy recently. This week, he connected with one of his longtime collaborators, Bino Rideaux, for a new single called “Movie.”
Produced by BLXST, C Stylez and JFK Beatz, the track has a smooth, west coast feel that the two have delivered time after time on their solo projects. Throughout the tracks, the two bounce back and forth as they talk about setting the tone the right way when beginning a new relationship.
“I gotta be patient with relationship/But you should know/Heart on my sleeve, don’t go breakin’ it/I’m chasin’ it, I can’t go broke,” BLXST raps.
“I know I ain’t the easiest to deal with, yeah/Hard to try me, you might lose me, yeah/If I wasn’t gon’ gettin’ it, would you choose me?/Ain’t no goin’ back to what it used to be,” the two add on the hook.
