Nik Stauskas is set to join his fourth team as his fifth NBA season begins. The Michigan product is reportedly going to be one of the first free agents off the board in the summer of 2018 as he will join the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Portland Trail Blazers let it be known that they were going to make moves following their sweep out of the playoffs at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans. While a major overhaul might not be possible given their current cap situation, some of their tertiary parts were expected to be headed out. They decided to let Ed Davis walk in free agency but in turn, they signed Stauskas to a veteran’s minimum deal.

This could be the last chance for ‘Sauce Castillo’ as he has not proven to be very valuable for any of the teams throughout his career. But he still has proven to be a sharpshooter with potential so his addition to the Blazers rotation could prove to help him out potentially playing in some high profile games.
