Michigan Wolverines running back Blake Corum has announced that he will return to the program for the 2023 college football season. Corum did not get to play against the Ohio State Buckeyes, in the Big Ten Championship game, or in the team’s loss to the TCU Horned Frogs in the College Football Playoffs due to an injury. While he could have declared for the 2023 NFL Draft he was not projected to be that high of a selection. Instead, he will return to school and play next year for the Wolverines. He will likely be the top non-quarterback option for the Heisman Trophy watch list to start the season.

This season with the Michigan Wolverines, Blake Corum rushed the ball 247 times for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also caught 11 passes for 80 yards and one touchdown. The season didn’t quite end the way he or the program would have liked, but unless something goes wrong, Michigan should compete hard again for the Big Ten Championship in the 2023 college football season. A National Championship appearance and win will be both Corum’s and Michigan’s main goal heading into the 2023 season. Corum’s return is a huge addition for the team this upcoming season and keeps them near the top of the NCAA standings.
