Boogie is certainly one of the most underrated artists coming from Shady Records at the moment. His authenticity and honesty makes him difficult to turn away from. The soulful sounds of his latest project, Everythings For Sale, showcased his limitless potential. More recently, he’s appeared on records like Reason’s “Trapped In” and delivered acoustic performances of “Lolsmh” from his debut album. Earlier this month, he got back into to his acoustic bag to deliver an acoustic performance of “Real” with fellow California native, BJRNCK.
The California duo does not disappoint when delivering a stripped-down performance of “Real.” Boogie opens the track with a verse about vulnerability and growth. The song then turns towards BJRNCK’s angelic voice. The most striking feature of their performance is their chemistry. At times, it seems effortless or as if we’re just getting a sneak peek of a jam session. Check out the acoustic performance above.
