The Buffalo Bills recently moved on from quarterback Tyrod Taylor after they traded him away to the Cleveland Browns last week ahead of the free agency period. The Bills were in the market for a quarterback and instead of overpaying for a big name or settling for a lower level veteran, they signed a young quarterback looking for a starting opportunity. AJ McCarron is heading to northern New York.
McCarron is reportedly signing a two-year deal with Buffalo. The team announced they were signing him earlier in the day.

AJ McCarron spent four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and wanted to hit the open market after sitting behind Andy Dalton for so long. McCarron filed and won his grievance in February against the team allowing him to become a free agent.
McCarron, 27, has recorded only four starts in his NFL career putting up a 64.7 comp percentage with 920 yards, six touchdowns, two INTs, 93.6 rating with a 2-2 record, including a loss in the 2015 wild-card game.
The Buffalo Bills starting quarterback job is wide open right now and it’s probably McCarron’s job to lose. We shall see what the Bills do with the remainder of their offseason but right now it looks like he has a strong case to be week one starter.
