It’s been a great year for Hip-Hop and it just keeps getting better. Earlier today, Meek Mill announced his plan to drop his long awaited album on November 30th. Later on, Anderson .Paak dropped his Dr. Dre produced album, Oxnard. Not to mention, the soundtrack for Creed II arrived with features from Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Vince Staples and more. To add on to a great day for Hip-Hop, Big K.R.I.T has has marked his return to the musical big stage with his newest three track project, Thrice X.
At around 9 p.m., the Mississippi rapper took to social media to announce his newest project by releasing the cover to the project. Not one to be long winded, Big K.R.I.T let the picture do the talking. At midnight, fans were welcomed by three new songs called “Higher”, “Glorious” and “Look What I Got”. This time, Big K.R.I.T handles the project void of features. The three new songs mark K.R.I.T’s first new project since his double album back in 2017. It’s unclear whether or not this short length project will lead to a full length album, but only time will tell. In the meantime, check out Thrice X and be sure to stay tuned for more surprise projects to be dropped through the end of 2018.
