Beyoncé will reportedly forego the Pittsburgh stop of her Renaissance World Tour.
“Due to production logistics and scheduling issues, unfortunately, the August 3rd Pittsburgh stop of the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will not be taking place. Refunds will automatically be issued at the point of purchase. If you have any questions or issues regarding your ticket order, please contact your point of purchase,” a statement from Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh reads.
Despite production and scheduling issues, the city is still working to reschedule the concert for a later date or a new venue.
“Pittsburgh — we are deeply disappointed in the news that Beyoncé has canceled her performance on August 3. We were fully prepared to welcome her to Pittsburgh and honor her with an official day recognizing her visit and accomplishments,” Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey said.
“We are in conversations with the promoter for the event in order to gain an understanding about what led to the cancellation, and if there is anything we can do as a city to find a new date or location for her show.”
As the city of Pittsburgh works to find a way to bring Beyoncé in for a show in the future, the Houston native will continue the North American leg of her tour on July 12 in Philadelphia.
