One of the major highlights of any BET Hip-Hop Awards broadcast are the cyphers. In years past, BET has brought out Top Dawg Entertainment, G.O.O.D Music and many other crews to take part in the annual tradition. While we have seen a variety of artists take part in the annual cypher tradition, it’s not often that we see a group of comedians battle it out to see who has the best verse. This year, Lil’ Duval, Chico Bean, Karlous Miller and many more linked up to take part in the award show’s comedian cypher.
As expected, the group of comedians held it down effortlessly. Lil’ Duval has launched a career in music of sorts by collaborating with Ty Dolla $ign, Snoop Dogg and many more. Meanwhile, Chico Bean and Karlous Miller have made their names in part through their notable freestlyes on MTV’s Wild N’ Out.
