You can say what you want about dominance of Atlanta. It’s easy to be enamored by the resurgence of the West. Not to mention, Chicago is always producing new talent. As things evolve and change, Hip-Hop will adapt as well, but one thing will always remain true. New York will always have a major place in the world of Hip-Hop culture. From Jay-Z to A Boogie, New York will always have a say in the direction of the culture. This week, a mega group by the name of Beast Coast is here to represent for the big apple with brand new music.
Consisting of The Underachievers, Pro Era and the Flatbush Zombies, Beast Coast is a super collective that brings together some of the best and brightest in all of music. Their latest project includes “Snow In The Stadium,” “Last Choir” and many more. Best of all, we get new verses from Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Meechy Darko, CJ Fly and more. All in all, Beast Coast’s latest project, Escape From New York, is a celebration of the city’s Hip-Hop scene. Check out the project above and let us know what you think.
