Warner Bros. Pictures has rolled out the latest trailer for their highly-anticipated summer release, Barbie. Building upon the first trailer, the latest look into Oscar-nominated writer-director Greta Gerwig’s new film offers a few more details regarding the plot.
“A Barbie doll living in Barbieland is expelled from the world for not being perfect enough, too eccentric and not fitting the usual mold. She goes on an adventure in the real world and by the time she returns to Barbieland to save it, she has gained the realization that perfection comes on the inside, not the outside, and that the key to happiness is belief in oneself,” the film’s description reads.
Warner Bros. Pictures’ latest film enlists a wide range of stars, including Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Michael Cera and many others. Not to mention, the soundtrack features Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, Lizzo and a wide collection of global hitmakers. On July 21, Warner Bros. Pictures will push their chips to the center of the table as they bet on this highly-anticipated film making the splash many expect it to.
