Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have been lighting up social media over the last couple months with news of the upcoming Bad Boys threequel, Bad Boys for Lif3. Official news has been mostly shared through the twos stars’ Instagram account and the same is true here. Smith posted a picture of he and Lawrence on Sunday announcing that filming will indeed begin Monday. The full caption reads, “First Day of Shooting tomorrow! We watched BadBoys 1 & 2 together over the weekend. It’s about to be KRAZY!” Check out the post below:
A third Bad Boys film has been in the works for over a decade but this time it seems like its actually happening. Unfortunately, Michael Bay is not returning to the helm after directing the first two installments. Instead, the duo of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will take the directorial reins on Bad Boys for Lif3.
The story will follow Smith and Lawrence’s Mike Lowrey and Marcus Bennett, respectively as they have an apparent falling out. Fans shouldn’t fear though as it’s more than likely that the two will have buried the hatchet and stopped the bad guy by the end of Bad Boys for Lif3.
Bad Boys for Lif3 is set to release January 17th, 2020.
