After grinding the last two seasons in the NBA and NBA G-League, Axel Toupane has decided to return to Europe by signing with Lithuanian club Zalgiris Kaunas on a 1+1 deal, the club announced.

In the NBA G-League with the 905 Raptors, last season Toupane averaged 16.1ppg, 4rpg, and 3.6apg.
The French wingman had spent his career with Strasbourg before deciding to work for his shot in the NBA for two seasons.
Toupane is a great addition to the Zalgiris squad and will help provide shooting and defense. He will hopefully be enough to help get the club into the Euroleague playoffs, which they narrowly missed out on last season.
