Dreamville’s leading lady Ari Lennox releases debut album Shea Butter Baby.
R&B is having a moment and Ari Lennox adds a soulful, sensual, smooth element to the new wave. Her full, rich vocals are matched with intimate instrumentals. Leading with tracks such as Whipped Cream and title track Shea Butter Baby featuring J. Cole, Ari Lennox creates an intimate listening experience.
The album cover features Ari Lennox posed in crystal outfit on a luxury cream throw rug sporting her natural hair, a theme she playfully incorporates in the tracklisting where the songs are each labeled with numbers signifying curl pattern.
With 12 tracks, Shea Butter Baby features J Cole, JID and Masego on saxophone. Ari Lennox also plans to hit the road, announcing Shea Butter Baby tour dates.
