A couple of months ago we were pretty sure that every eligible college player will declare without hesitation.
But we never realise that these are life changing decisions that these 18-21 year olds are making. They could go pro and be busts… Nobody wants to be that.
With that in mind Andrew Wiggins sat down, talked with his coach Bill Self, his family and took his final decision to a press conference.
It wasn’t an easy decision. I just wish I had more time. College goes by so fast. I can see why people stay all four years.
With Andrew taking the plunge it leaves many players including fellow Jayhawk Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker and others to make this Draft a great one.
