Getting into the holiday spirit, Aminé has announced that he will be hosting his first annual toy drive in Portland, Oregon this Sunday. Hosted in partnership with the Portland Trail Blazer Blazers Boys & Girls Club, the community event encourages residents of the greater Portland area to stop by and donate holiday gifts in exchange for raffle tickets. With these raffle tickets, donors will have a shot at winning concert tickets, NBA tickets, signed soccer jerseys and much more.
As the number of recorded COVID-19 cases continues to rise, Aminé and his team are taking health and safety precautions. Those who wish to donate toys in person must provide proof of vaccination and wear masks while visiting the Blazers Boys & Girls Club on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Portland. For those who are unable to donate gifts in person, there is an option to donate remotely by texting the following number: 269-89.
Aminé’s first annual toy drive follows the release of his latest project, TWOPOINTFIVE. At the start of the new year, the Portland native will embark on the TWOPOINTFIVE tour. Beginning January 29 in Portland, he will perform in San Francisco, Atlanta, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Detroit and more than two dozen other two dozen other cities.
