Setting the tone for the summer, the Bay Area’s own, Adrian Marcel, has returned with a new single called “Slide.” Produced by Sonny B, the track isn’t an upbeat, club hit, but rather an emotionally vulnerable track with a soulful guitar and a strong vocal performance from the platinum-selling recording artist.
“I [have[ been a player too long. And I know I’ve been wrong. I should have been there for you. I should have done what I was suppose to. For all of the times I let you down, I should have been there for us. Instead, I took you for granted,” he sings. “I’m in the bed all alone. And I need you right next to me. So, when I call your phone, I need you to slide. I need you to make your way…make your way back home to me.”
