Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky has arrived in Sweden for the first time since he was released from jail earlier this year. Rocky made his arrival public when he posted a video on Instagram. He can be seen telling fans that he’s excited to be back.
He said, “We in Sweden right now.”
Rocky added, “We had to come through the slums. Shout out to the people out here!”
Rocky is set to perform in Sweden later this month. He will take the stage on December 11th at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.

The New York artist has had a complicated relationship with the European country throughout the year. This summer, he gained international attention when he was jailed following an alleged altercation with a man named Mustafa Jafari. He was eventually released and handed a two year suspended sentence.
Despite that uncomfortable situation, Rocky has remained actively interested in giving back to different Swedish communities. Most recently, he offered to perform in the Swedish prison in which he was detained this summer. He was ultimately denied the opportunity, but continues to push for more philanthropic efforts in the country.
