A Boogie has had an incredible run thus far in 2019. Since releasing his latest album in December, the New York artist has climbed the charts with to earn the first number one album of his career. In addition, Boogie’s collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine rose to the #38 spot on the US Hot 100 chart. Keeping the momentum going from his latest project, A Boogie has dropped the official video for his lead single, “Look Back At It“.
Directed by JMB, the video takes A Boogie back to his high school days as he chases the girl of his dreams. The video also draws heavily on the influence of Michael Jackson. The new video pays homage to the opening scenes of Jackson’s iconic “Black or White” video. Not to mention, A Boogie uses a few of Jackson’s ad-libs throughout the record.
A Boogie dropped the video just in time for his run of shows in Australia. Next month, A Boogie will kick off his Outbreak Tour with Don Q and Trap Manny in Austin on February 20th before making stops in Boston, New York, Las Vegas, San Diego and many more cities. Watch the video above and be sure to grab your tickets for his upcoming tour.
