The 91st Academy Awards are right around the corner and things are heating up. Last month, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Science revealed the nominees for the 91st Academy Awards. As one would imagine, there were mixed reactions to the 2019 nominees. Some were fairly upset that If Beale Street Could Talk was not nominated for more awards. Others were fairly surprised that A Star Is Born did not appear to be the favorite to win “Best Picture” that it previously appeared to be. All in all, the nominees set this year’s broadcast up to be something to keep your eye on.
