It’s finally that day! As a journalist, you’re taught to be unbiased. However, it’s impossible for me to do that at the moment. Since 2016’s Free 6lack, it’s been hard not to be a die hard fan of the rapper turned singer out of Atlanta, Georgia. Over the past two years, the “Ex Calling” singer has worked with Khalid, Ty Dolla $ign. T-Pain and many more. Not to mention, he had the pleasure of having Jay-Z and Beyonce stop by his set at Coachella this year. As he continues to move forward, his star only continues to rise.
Earlier this year, we got a taste of his newest project when Joe Budden previewed his lead single, “Switch”, on his podcast. Over the last few months, the Atlanta native has made the rounds musically and in the press. He gave his fans a video for the lead single, a feestyle on Sway In The Morning and second single with a new video. In addition, he gave the press a two hour long interview with Joe Budden and an interview with Sway In The Morning. All of his hard work and talent has led up this moment.
After much anticipation, 6lack’s sophomore album, East Atlanta Love Letter, is out! The new project comes complete with fourteen tracks and features from Offset, J. Cole, Future and more. Listen to 6lack’s sophomore album, East Atlanta Love Letter, and get your tickets for his upcoming tour.
