On Friday, November 24, 6LACK returned home to perform at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. With his band at his side, 6LACK treated the sold-out crowd to performances of his greatest tracks and guest appearances from Akon, T-Pain and others. To put a bow on the homecoming show, the Atlanta native was honored with a declaration setting aside November 18 as 6LACK Day in Atlanta, Georgia.
“On behalf of DeKalb County and its more than 800,000 citizens, we hereby honor 6LACK for his outstanding leadership, commitment to serving others and [raising] mental health [awareness],” DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson said at State Farm Arena on November 24, 2023.
“We hereby recognize this as 6LACK Day in Atlanta and DeKalb County.”
6LACK’s sold-out show at State Farm Arena wraps up the domestic portion of his Since I Have A Lover Tour. Joined by QUIN and Jordan Ward, the Atlanta native has made his way through North America this fall with stops at more than two dozen cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Boston and several others. Along the way, he’s delivered a two-track EP, collaborated with QUIN and appeared on Smile High’s The Vibetape.
6LACK will take a break from performing live before kicking off the European leg of his tour in February. Beginning February 9 in Portugal, he is set to take the stage in rougly a dozen cities, including London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris and Brussels among others. The tour will conclude in the spring with a run of shows in Australia and New Zealand.
