If you’re familiar with 50 Cent and Rick Ross’ “on-going” feud, you are aware that 50 put out a sex video of Ross’ ex, Lastonia Leviston. She then sued 50 for uploading said video to the internet and won the case. 50 was then required to pay Leviston a total of $5 Million, but he quickly filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Once Fif filed for Chapter 11 all of his assets and businesses were accounted for and the rearranging process started.
If you follow 50 on Instagram, you know he’s quite the comedian. There’s no boundaries to what 50 post. He promotes his Effen Vodka, his child, funny videos, cars and more, but the cash videos and photos are what sparked the interest of Judge Ann Nevins.
According to The Daily Mail 50 has told Judge Nevins that the money is fake and “the Instagram pics were needed to maintain his brand”. He tells her that “Hip hop culture is widely recognized as aspirational in nature. The standard by which artists and fans engage is commonly tied to money, jewelry, products and advertising over social media. Just because I am sensitive to the needs of maintaining my brand does not mean that I am hiding assets or that I have lied on my filings in this bankruptcy case”.
There’s no word on the ruling yet, but we’ll keep you updated on the matter.
