
BET Award season has crept back and it’s that time again. Heading into some uncharted waters, due to current circumstances that is changing all industries, the excitement for the 2020 BET Awards is certain. Announcing nominees and a first wave of performers, viewers can expect a little bit of everything to grace our screens with Amanda Seales serving as this year’s host.
Taking place on June 28 at 8:00 PM EST, for the first time in history, the 2020 BET Awards will air on CBS, along with BET and BET HeR. In what will be a big night, Drake leads the way with 6 nominations. Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch are right behind with 5 nominations of their own. Other nominees include Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Anderson .Paak and more.
Furthermore, you can’t have an award show with performances. Chloe X Halle, Usher, Summer Walker, SiR, Alicia Keys and a host of other music industry stars will be virtually showcasing their talents for millions across the world. Celebrating 20 years of the BET Awards and 40 years overall as a network, this year’s showing will be a special one.
