Here we go. The 2015 MLB All Star Game in Cincinnati, Ohio is finally here. After an extremely entertaining home run derby last night with hometown winner Todd Frazier walking off with the championship belt, the All Star Game itself is probably expected to be even better. There are plenty of new faces on both the American League and National League teams this season. Faces that we will most likely be seeing on All Star teams for the next ten years. There are multiple Kansas City Royals as we all know in Lorenzo Cain, Salvador Perez, and Alcides Escobar. Alex Gordon was voted into the game but can’t play because of the injury. What I’m looking forward to the most in seeing the most dominant pitcher this season in Los Angeles Dodgers’ Zack Greinke taking on Mike Trout, Josh Donaldson, and Albert Pujols right off the bat. I’m also looking forward to watching Jacob deGrom pitch but that’s the New York Mets fan in me. There is so much young talent in this game which makes it that much more intriguing.
