LeBron James comes in with a great ad once again. Now i’m not one for Beats. Reliability is sketchy in my view. But genuinely. The PowerBeats 2 do look nice. They’re different from other earphones and the fact that LeBron is the poster boy for them just makes them all the more enticing.
Well. Lets just say that’s a proponent of good advertising. This new ad with LeBron working out in his hometown further explains that good advertising Beats are masters at. It’s possible that the people at Nike and Beats are teaming up. This ad and the adverts Beats make have ‘Nike’ written all over them. And LeBron James, who is famously Nike royalty. The connections are certainly there.
And as for the advert itself. It’s more than an ode to Akron, LeBron’s hometown. You see people waving to LeBron, he visits the gym (where he gained the initial fame) in St Vincent, St Mary’s High School which is now named “LeBron James Arena”. Even though the PowerBeats are nearly always in shot. It’s the story behind it that makes this ad a good watch. And for the women it’s not a bad thing seeing LeBron work out with his torso bare.
