The two guys with the closest names in the NBA both signed to their respective NBA teams. C.J McCollum re-signed to the Portland Trail Blazers today now, reports are coming out that Ray McCallum has signed a 1-year with the Detroit Pistons. According to Michael Scotto of Sheridan Hoops:

McCallum was drafted in 2013 by the Sacramento Kings and spent 2 years there until being signed by the Spurs and traded to the Grizzlies mid-way through the season. McCallum averaged 6.9 points, 2.7 assists, and 1 3-pointer a game for Memphis this season and now as an unrestricted free agent, has taken his talents to the Detroit Pistons. McCallum spent his time in college at the University of Detroit Mercy, so he’ll be moving to a familiar area for him. The Pistons have been looking for backcourt depth and after acquiring Ish Smith, McCallum and Smith will be fighting for the back-up point guard spot, alongside Steve Blake. The Pistons have been slowly making additions to build on what was their most successful season in about 5 years, making the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference.
