YoungBoy Never Broke Again sued for alleged participation in violent attack against disc jockey. After an altercation between the rapper and crowd members, the DJ claims then, an incident backstage left him battered and bruised.
The Advocate reports, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and fellow rapper Quando Rondo engaged in kicking and punching DJ Carl Capers. Capers alleges the two rappers left him with a crack tooth, a bloody face and lastly a damaged reputation.
Baton Rouge rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again born Kentrell Gaulden and Quando Rondo, born Tyquian Bowman allegedly jumped Carl Capers in an unprovoked attack.
Following an altercation between Gaulden and an audience member, both rappers and crew were escorted backstage. After the incident, a member of Bowman’s crew became separated from the others. Capers claims to have received commands to retrieve this person.
The lawsuit continues detailing how Bowman began the attack against Carl Capers. Punching his head and body, Gaulden joined in claims Capers.
“Even as Mr. Capers was on the ground and trying to reason with both his attackers to avoid further escalation of things, Kentrell Gaulden and Tyquian Bowman continued to violently attack Mr. Capers with the artists punching and kicking Mr. Capers in his face and other parts of his body,” says the lawsuit.
Lawyers representing Gaulden claim to not know anything involving the incident nor lawsuit and would look into the matter.
